Posted on July 23, 2011

Mobile devices have been around for some time, but unfortunately, only recently have we tapped into these multi-functional resources for educational purposes. With a number of college campuses across the U.S. still not fully “wireless”, it is no surprise that institutions of higher education have been slow to embrace m-learning and mobile technologies.

There are however a number of colleges and universities that have begun making conscientious efforts to bring mobile learning technology into the classroom, most notably, the iPad. Some of the institutions of higher learning that have launched such initiatives include:

Abilene Christian University

University of Notre Dame

Trinity College @ the University of Melbourne
